I'm Flip Frisch

Drawing inspiration from the natural and human world, I design websites and apps, graphics, short films and user experiences. I have created posters for an art show, designed countless tshirs and composed songs about bodily functions.

I love storytelling and the way it can be done verbally, visually or musically. I have worked extensively in the world of summer camp, which might seem unrelated but isn't; as a counselor, art director, songleader and adventure program director I have created community, told stories, and facilitated countless experiences for campers (and sometimes even for staff).

I hold degrees in psychology and I've always been a student of human nature. The quest to understand why people do what they do and feel the way they feel is endlessly interesting to me and informs my UX process. Empathy is not just a tool of my trade, it is fundamental to my core self.

I enjoy long walks, fresh peaches, cedar trees and friendly neighborhood cats.
